Jewel Ruiz is a 20-year-old artist from Santa Maria, California. She went to Ernest Righetti High School for all 4 years of secondary school and started to work on her extensive art portfolio by taking art classes throughout, including one AP art class senior year. After, Jewel continued to further her education at Allan Hancock College, a local community college, majoring in Studio Art/Animation. She is currently still attending and has always had a love and appreciation for art and creativity.
Jewel Ruiz is a self-taught artist and through experimentation, has discovered her own, both unique and beautiful, art style. She likes working in many mediums, including charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and ink. Jewel’s dream career is to work full-time in the animation industry and pursue jobs that let her unleash her creativity.
